ALBION - Marvin E. Pease, 72, of Albion, died Friday, February 10, 2012 in Elkhart County. Mr. Pease was born in Waterloo, Indiana, on November 18, 1939 to Clarence Pease and Cleo (Johnson) Pease. He graduated from Waterloo High School in 1958. Marvin honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. He married Donna Norris on August 26, 1977 in Albion and she survives. Marvin worked 42 years for Kraft Foods in Kendallville, retiring in 2000. After retiring he worked part time driving vehicles for Noble Chevrolet and Shepherd's GM in Kendallville. He was a member of the Auburn American Legion Post #97, served as a board member and coach for the Albion Youth Baseball League; helped run the Steuben County Speedway for several years; and enjoyed bowling leagues in Kendallville. He liked watching IU basketball, Chicago Cubs baseball and NASCAR racing. Most of all he loved to watch his grandkids in their different sports. Survivors include: his wife, Donna Pease of Albion; two sons; Jon Pease of Avilla, and Jason and Jenny Pease of Kendallville; five grandchildren, Dustin Pease, Katlyn Pease, Sierra Stout, Logan Pease and Kyndal Pease; and one brother; Bob and Linda Pease of Bloomington, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Robert Shriner. Burial will be at the Sparta Cemetery at a later date. Preferred memorials may be made to the Family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville, IN 46755
