CLEO L. PEASE
KENDALLVILLE - Cleo L. Pease, age 94, died on Monday, October 17, 2005 at Parkview-Noble Hospital in Kendallville.
She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 5, 1911 to William B. and Grace (Kreusin) Johnson. She graduated from Northside High School in 1938 and married Clarence Edward Pease on February 27, 1938 in Columbia City, Indiana.
She was employed as leasing manager of the Briarwood Apartments in Goshen and later sold Avon Cosmetics for 8 years. Mrs. Pease was a member of the Trinity English Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clarence Pease of Kendallville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Donna Pease of Albion, Indiana, and Bobby Lee and Linda Pease of Bloomington, Indiana.
Five grandchildren survive including Jon Pease of Avilla, Jason Pease of Albion, Michael Pease of Chicago, William Pease of Bloomington, and Monica Rupert of Battle Creek, Michigan. Seven great grandchildren also survive her.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Johnson and two sisters, Elda Price and Eileen Johson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 10-19-05, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Hite Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, 10-20-05 at 2:00 p.m. at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Officiating the funeral will be Pastor Kathleen Heller. Burial will be at the Lindenwood Cemetery following services on Thursday.
Casketbearers will be Jon Pease, Michael Pease, William Pease, Charlie Biddle and Willie Herrick.
