Ruby E. Clippinger, 97, retired Calverts employee and grocery store owner, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003. Graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Elmwood Cemetery. Preceded in death by husband, Emerson Clippinger.
Survivors: daughter and spouse, Wanda and Lewis Mayfield of Augusta; grandchildren and spouses, Jerry and Bette Mayfield, Kerry and Jaye Mayfield, Deeny and Anthony Burch; 5 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
