Glen Lewis Frazier, was born July 10, 1911, at Russell, KS to William and Lillian (Lewis) Frazier. His death occurred June 4 1980, at the Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS after several months of failing health. His age was 68 years, 10 months and 24 days.

Glen lived his entire life in the Russell community, received his education in the Russell schools and married Theresa Marie Hopper on March 18, 1939, in Kansas City, Mo. To this union was born one son Bill.

For a few years after marriage, he was manager of the Driscoll Hotel, Russell, and in 1941 began working for Kaw Pipe Line. During WW II, he served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge from military service, he returned to Russell and again worked 32 years for Kaw, retiring in 1973.

Much of his leisure time was occupied with his enthusiasm for sports. He was a fan of all types of sports and all levels from the little league to major competition. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge.

He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, the Eastern Star, Shrine Club and was a life member of the VFW Post No. 6240, all of Russell. He was also a member of the Consistory and ISIS Shrine of Salina.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother. Survivors include his wife Theresa of the home; his son Bill of Chicago, IL; a brother, T. C. Frazier of Clearview City, KS; a sister, Mrs. Wilmetta Bevan of Salina, KS; and other relatives and a host of friends.
