RUSSELL - John DeWald, son John George & Katherine Elizabeth DeWald (nee Lohman) born March 22,1884, Otis died August 18, 1955 in Russell Hospital. In 1898 the family moved to a farm south of Russell. A retired farmer and never married, he made his home in Russell with brother and sister, a member Methodist church, stricken with a heart attack last July 9. In hospital here the past 6 wks. Survivors are: 6 sisters; 3 brothers.
Funeral will be Monday, August 22,1955 , at the church. Burial in Russell cemetery.
