RUSSELL Betty Lou Daniel, 74, died Monday, May 17, 1999, at Columbia Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Nov. 3, 1924, in Russell to Robert L. and Alvina (Housman) Barton. She grew up and attended school in Russell, graduating from Russell High School. She married Rue Nathan Daniel on Jan. 5, 1940, in Russell. He died Jan. 25, 1998. She was a homemaker, and was a dental assistant for Dr. Raben and Lee Graham.
Survivors include a son, Robert, Hays; a brother, Roy Barton, Hutchinson; a sister, Mattie Kaiser, Pratt; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert L. Barton and Rex Barton, and a sister, Gladys Erwin.
Services were today at Pohlman Memorial Chapel, Russell, with Don Lipprand officiating; burial in Russell City Cemetery.
