Mattie Pearl Phillips, 60, of Sardis, Miss., passed away February 3, 2012. Funeral services were held at 12 noon Saturday, February 11 at New Trinity M.B. Church. Burial followed at Askew Grove Cemetery in Sarah. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home.
She is survived by her sisters, Stella Phillips, Mae Phillips, Earnestine Phillips, and Linda Mabry all of Sardis, Mary Britto, Callie Mae Pettis, Annie Mae Hunt, and Earmine Oliver, all of Como, and Ella Hunt of Longtown; two brothers, Elmore Phillips of Como and Herman Hunt of Memphis, Tenn.
