They had ten children: Oliver (died in infancy), Maria (died in infancy), Maria (married Colonel John B. Murray), Harriet, Caroline (married Dr. Marinus Willet), Oliver, Arthur, Frederic, Mary and Ann.
Isaac Bronson was co-founder of both the New York and Ohio Life Insurance & Trust Companies. He was also the director and president of the Bridgeport Bank (Connecticut) from the years 1807 to 1832. One of New York City's wealthiest men, his assets were over $250,000 in 1828.
Bronson was responsible for planting the original dogwood tree in Greenfield Hill (Fairfield), Connecticut, for which the area is now known. Fairfield Country Day School currently occupies what was Dr. Bronson's home, "Verna".
Incidentally, Greenfield Hill Burial Ground is located on Bronson Road.
