He married Stella Martha Rose on Jul 5, 1918 in Covington, Kentucky. Their children were Naomi Ruth, Lester Eugene, Dorothea Mae and George Charles Crist. Dorothea and George both died in childhood.
When Stella was diagnosed with T.B. and living in a Sanitarium, Harold traved the U.S. looking for work. Children Naomi and Lester were living with relatives in Ohio. He was a painter and a teacher, mainly in TX.
The family reunited and settled in Asheville, N.C. for awhile and then in Baltimore City, MD., where he and Stella had a photography studio.
Harold died Jun 28, 1948 and was interred at Baltimore Cemetery on Jun 30, 1948, Wed.
I never met Harold, as he died before my parents met. He worked hard to support his family.
