Charles Wayne "Curly" Parrish, Sr., 77, of Roebuck, SC, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at his home.
Born January 22, 1935 in Enoree, he was the son of the late Franz Osborn and Margaret Blanch (Owens) Parrish and husband of the late Laura Leticia (Bates) Parrish.
Charles was retired from Sargent's Barber Shop after 44 years of service, a member of Enoree Masonic Lodge, and El Bethel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Parrish and his wife Timmi of Roebuck and Chuck Parrish of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Alexander, Abigail, and Josie Parrish all of Roebuck; brother, Dick Parrish of Woodruff, and two sisters, Dianne Morrow and Bennie Owen both of Enoree.
Visitation was 11:00 am - 12:45 pm Monday, February 20, 2012 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services followed at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Carroll Caldwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Spartanburg Regional Special Needs Fund, 120 Heywood Avenue, Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
