Mrs. Amanda Goode Perryman-- A native of Coy, AL and a resident of Mobile, born April 7, 1909 departed this life Tuesday, April 29, 2003 in a local hospital. She was a member of Emanuel A.M.E. Church where she served as a Stewardess. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Laura) Goode, Sr., husband, Mr. Horace Perryman, one grandson, three brothers, three sisters. She leaves to cherish her precious memory, two daughters, Thelma Johnson and Martha Perryman, both of Mobile; three sons, Henry (Helen) Perryman, Nathaniel Perryman of Mobile, AL; Nathan (Ethel) Perryman, Columbus, SC, one stepson, Floyd E. (Minnie) Perryman, Pensacola, FL; 22 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Martha Matthews, Coy, AL; one brother, Mr. Preston Goode, Whatley, AL, devoted friend, Mrs. Inez Sellers, Mobile, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Emanuel A.M.E. Church beginning at 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour with the Rev. John L. Dees, Pastor and Officiating Minister. Interment to follow in the Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHNSON ALLEN MORTUARY, 600 Chestnut St., Mobile, AL.
