"Harry Claus Hayman, 86, of 8 E. Dartmouth, died Sunday at a nursing home at 100 E. 36th. Mr. Hayman was a lifelong Kansas City resident. He was a retired director of the the dealer and school promotion program for the Kansas City Power & Light Company and formerly worked as a special representative for the Missouri Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Community Christian Church. Mr. Hayman was a member of the Native Sons of Kansas City and was a life member of the Compass Club and the Electric Association of the Kansas City Power & Light Co. He was a 50-year member of the Ivanhoe Masonic Lodge and the Ararat Shrine and was a member of the Knights Templar. He was a 1913 graduate of the old Kansas City School of Law. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Olsen Hayman of the home and a sister, Mrs. Agnes M. Kissick of Kansas City, Kansas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Newcomer Brush Creek Chapel; burial in Forest Hill Cemetery." The Kansas City Star, November 8, 1976
