Death Takes Sister of Buffalo Publisher: Mrs. Ada Butler Lindsey Dies in New York: April 1, Mrs. Ada Butler Lindsey, wife of Captain Donald Lindsey of the British Army, died of pneumonia today in her apartment in Hotel Pierre. She was 65.
Surviving besides her husband are a brother, Edward H. Butler, owner and publisher of the Buffalo Evening News, and a daughter, Mrs. William Cameron Baird of Buffalo. Funeral and burial will be Tuesday in Buffalo with Rev. Alfred Butzer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Since the death in 1932 of her first husband, Roscoe R. Mitchell, Mrs. Lindsey had traveled extensively in Europe where she met Captain Lindsey. He has been on leave from his regiment.
