Mary Jean Baca, age 53, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 14, 2012.
Mary was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to José Ignacio García and Estefana Leyba.
Mary enjoyed cooking, was a hard worker and loved her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Danny García and Thomas García.
Mary is survived by her son, Jacob "Speedy" Baca and his wife, Joyce, granddaughters, Theodorita Baca and Bernadette Baca, sisters, Irene Howlett and her husband, Clinton "Sam", Lucille Romero and Loretta Gonzáles, brothers, José García, Richard García and Mark García and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives and friends.
Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The Visitation, Rosary and Mass will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 times as follows, Visitation at 9:00 a.m., Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery following Mass. Pallbearers will be Richard García, Mark García, José García, Joseph Romero, Robert Montoya and Andrew Howlett. Honorary bearer is Theresa Williams.
