Funeral services for Clarence "Bubba" Davis are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the New Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
Clarence "Bubba" Davis was born May 22, 1936 in Milam County to Lorenza and Idella (Tindle) Davis. He has lived all of his life in Thorndale.
On April 13, 1952, he and Pearlie Shields were married. Bubba was a mechanic at Alcoa, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Thorndale where he served as Deacon. He enjoyed buying trucks and cars.
Bubba passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in the Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock, reaching the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pearlie on January 31, 2004 and two sons, Jeffery Lynn Davis and Leslie Davis.
Surviving; His daughter, Cynthia Jackson of Thorndale. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
