A member of Haynes Flat Baptist Church, she was also a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Russell; parents, Garfield and Eva Clawson; sisters, Muriel Sharp, Cecil Goins and Sara Bett Brown; brothers, Ralph Clawson and George Clawson.
