Carroll Johnson, age 58, of Auburn, Georgia, formerly of Gwinnett County entered into rest on Monday, February 13, 2012. He is survived by two daughters; Carla Dodd and Tammy Johnson both of Auburn, GA; four sisters, Dianne Tribble of Hoschton, GA, Delores & Harry Jones of Gaffney, SC, Charlotte & Jeff Weaver of Auburn, GA, Denise & Chris Gwin of Memphis, TN; brother, Donald & Judy Johnson of Hoschton, GA; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Carroll was born in Duluth, Georgia, on March 27, 1953 to Lillian Alma Martin Johnson and Grady Horace Johnson. He attended Duluth High School and worked as a Framer & Drywall professional in the construction business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially his grandchildren. Carroll will be missed by his family and friends.
A Service Celebrating the Life of Carroll G. Johnson will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Edwin Peevy officiating. Interment Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery on Sever Rd., Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
