S.D.Danford 72, Dies Wednesday.Caldwell, Oh.-Ex-mayor S.D. Danford 72 died at his home at 204 Main St. Wed. at 1:45 P.M.Following an extended illness of complications. Mr Danford was a son of the late Michael and Margaret Danford and was born in the Keithtown community in western Noble Co. He came to caldwell twenty years ago where he was manager of a Fairmont cream ststion. For the past ten years he has served as mayor of Caldwell, his last term expiring Jan.-1-1944.Funeral services will be held Fri. at 1 P.M. from the First Methodist church. Burial will be made in the Sharon cemetery. Masonic rites will be accorded the late mayor.The body was removed from the B.B. Wheeler funral home to the home on Main St.Wednesday evening.
