Milton married Lillian Gertrude Baxter Sept 26, 1937 in Mason, Mason County, Texas. Milton enlisted in San Antonio on Sept 18, 1942 in the Air Corps. He served as as Texas Sgt. 235 Base Unit AAF in World War II. He was a skilled mechanics and repairmen. They had twins Amelia Ann and Hal Arche in 1946. Milton owned the Reichenau Furniture and Appliance Co. in Mason. He sustained injuries while moving a refrigerator that fell on him and was taken to Shannon Hospital in San Angelo where he died 10 days after the accident. He was buried in the Baxter Plot at Old Gooch Cemetery.
