Fern Bryant Webb, 86, of Smithville, passed away July 9 at NHC Healthcare in Chattanooga. She was a member of the Smithville Church of God and a homemaker. Fern was preceded in death by husband, Rev. Edwin Webb; son, Joel M. Webb; parents, Silas and Mattie Moore LeFevre; sisters, Lois Webb, Dora Kay Vanderpool, Peggy Kutz and Maude Parsley; brothers, Westley, Bud, Urias, Alphus, Raliegh LeFevre.
Fern is survived by children, Douglas M. and wife, Lavern Webb of Nashville, Dinah G. and husband, Larry Lamunyon of Chattanooga, Marsha K. and husband, Dwight Anderson of Nashville, Mickey E. and wife, Pam Webb of LaFollette, Jan E. and husband, Bob Beard of Coral Springs, FL; grandchildren, Darrel Cross, Shannon and Tori Dodson, Stephanie Cooper, Sonya Franks, Mylon Webb, Ryan Saturday and Webb Beard; 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 13 at the Smithville Church of God with Brother Donnie Kelly and Brother Michael Farr officiating. Interment was in the Whorton Springs Cemetery. The family suggests donations may be made to Church of God Children's Home or Smithville Church of God. DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
