Lucille Victoria Maud Bird was the daughter and 5th child of James Henry Bird Sr. and Donalda Beatrice Quesnel Bird. She married Richard J. Battaglia on 31 Jan. 1959 in Los Angeles, California. They divorced in 1969. No children of this marriage. She went back to her maiden name at that time. She was an avid animal activist and rescued many dogs and cats.
