Frances "Fannie" Ellen Spaulding was the daughter of George Washington Spaulding and Frances Snow.

Frances married Egbert Jerome Shaylor. He was born in March of 1842 in Ashtabula, Ohio and died on 24 October 1926 in Auburndale, Massachusetts. He started as a clerk at G. W. Spaulding & Co. and later became a business partner. In 1870 Frances and Egbert were living in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Living in the household was their daughter, Georgiana Shaylor. After Frances' death Egbert went back to Weston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He is listed in the 1900 and 1910 federal census for Weston.
