Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at Grace Chapel for the late William Ater, of northeast of Arcadia, who died Monday morning. Interment will be in Arcadia Cemetery.
A jury empaneled by Coroner C. S. Young found that death was caused by broncial pbneumonia. Mr. Ater suffered severe injuries in a fall several days ago it was learned.
The deceased was born August 15, 1852, and was united in marriage with Lucinda Bridgeman on May 7, 1876. Mrs. Ater with four children are left. They are Mrs. Nettie Virgin, Virginia; James Edward, Literberry; William H., Virginia, and Mrs. Ola P. Knowles, Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Ater is survived by twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one brother, James E. Ater, Arenzville.
