Alta, died Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 18, 1989, at the home of her daughter near Tahlequah.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St John's Lutheran Church with Rev, Carlton J. Kjergaard officiating. Burial at the Covington cemetery. Mrs Fiscus was born Jan. 22, 1917, southwest of Tahlequah. Her parents were Wiley and Mary Vick. She married John Fiscus in Perry August 9, 1934 In addition to her husband John, she is survived by 2 daughters Helen Parks, Fossil, Oregon, and LaWanda Heltzel, of Tahlequah. a son Roy Dean Fiscus, Thayer, Kansas. A sister, Joan Lee Boyd of San Francisco, Cal. a brother J.D. Vick of Covington. 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and five sisters.
