Mary L. Vick (Quarles) was born in Ellijay, Ga. May 4, 1880,
to parents Andrew J. and Mary L. Quarles. She married
Wiley B. Vick. She passed away Oct. 10, 1951 at her home
in Covington, Ok. Funeral services will be held Thursday
at 2: P.M. in the Covington Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin
Baker of Butler Okla officiating. Burial will be in the
Covington Cemetery.
Survivors; include her husband Wiley B. Vick of the home;
six daughters; Mrs Lockie Waggoner of Perry, Ok.; Mrs
Etta Stilwell, and Mrs Dessie Shipman both of Ellenwood,
Ks., Mrs Alta Fiscus, Glendale, Az., Mrs Myrtle Wilson of
San Francisco, Ca., and Mrs Ethel Price of Covington.
Three sons; Farris Vick of Covington and Newell and
J. D. Vick both of Wichita, Ks, Twenty grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren and a host of loved ones
and friends.
