Graveside services for Ora Evelyn Bibb, 94 of Lubbock, will be at 11 a.m., Monday at the City of Lubbock Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Joplin officiating. Burial is under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bibb died at 7:50 a.m., Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, in Lubbock.
She was born Feb. 10, 1911 in Leonard to the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Webster Smith and moved to Meadow in 1920. She married childhood sweetheart, Kennedy
W. Buster Bibb Nov. 23, 1947.He died in April of 1975. She had lived in Lubbock since 1942, working with the Office of Defense Transportation and the Veterans Administration and retired from Reese Air Force Base in December of 1976 after 30 years of Civil Service. She was a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Lubbock Chapter 76.
She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Mona and Lee Mapes.
