NAMPA — Services for Albert L. Hunter, 86, of 1104 Eleventh Avenue South, Nampa, who died Saturday at a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alsip funeral Chapel by Dr. James O. York, pastor of the Nampa First Christian Church, and the Rev. Frank M. Marler, pastor emeritus of the church, interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

He was born July 15, 1889, in Smith Center, Kan. He attended schools in Edgar, Neb. He married Kathryn E. Schertz Jan. 31, 1916, in Hastings, Neb. They lived in Nebraska until they moved to Nampa where he owned and operated Al Hunter's Barber Shop for 45 years.

Mr. Hunter was a member of the Nampa First Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife of Nampa; two sons, Robert Charles of Millbrae, Calif., and Jerry L. of Napa Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Meltebeke of Hillsboro, Ore.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and a nephew.

Instead of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Heart Fund or the Cancer Fund.
