Felecie Berard Vuillemot passed away peacefully at her home on February 8, 2012. She was born in Loreauville, Louisiana on October 10, 1920. She was the youngest of 12 children; six boys and six girls. Felecie went on to marry Emile "Bealy" Vuillemot and they began their life together in Louisiana. They started a family with the birth of their daughter, Ginger and many years later they added to the family a son, Troy.

In the mid 1960's, for career reasons, the family relocated to LaMirada, CA where they resided for many years. The Vuillemots never strayed too far from their Cajun roots and made many trips from LaMirada to the Texas/Louisiana gulf coast area and often included stops in Las Vegas. When her husband retired in 1976, they relocated back to Texas and made their home in southeast Houston. The Vuillemots were devout Catholics and were one of the early parishioners of the Catholic Community of St. Luke the Evangelist in Houston. Felecie and Bealy were known for being Astros fans, enjoying ballroom dancing and synchronizing their color coordinating wardrobe.

After 52 years of marriage to Bealy, Felecie became widowed in 1993. Having never worked outside the home during her marriage, she started her career as a hospitality professional at the age of 74 at Laura's Tea Room in Clear Lake City and retired from the tearoom after 15 years of service at the age of 89. Felecie was active in the Catholic Daughters, HUGS group and the quilting ministries at St. Luke's. Throughout her life she collected and maintained countless friendships, all of which she greeted by saying, "Hello! My beautiful child!"

Felecie is preceded in death by her husband, Emile; a granddaughter, Felice; brothers: Burton, Tony, Sully, Loyd and Albert; sisters: Connie, Nita ("Ne-Neat"), Regina, Lariza ("Larry") and Lucy. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Phillip Pampolina; a son and partner, Troy Vuillemot and David Sanders; granddaughter and husband, Carla and Jack Fitzpatrick Jr.; grandson and wife, Damon and Jennifer Pampolina; great grandson Roman Pampolina; brother, Charles "Junior" Berard and many children whom she considered beautiful.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Sunday, February 12th at Niday Funeral Home, with a vigil and rosary to begin at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am, Monday, February 13th at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church with an entombment service scheduled at 2:30pm at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.
