Services for Mrs Annas Prioux, the former Constance "Mrs Connie" Berard, 99, were Monday, 28 May 2001, at 10:30 am at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Loreauville, Louisiana, with the Rev J Aaron Melancon officiating. Entombment will be in St Joseph's Mausoleum in Loreauville. She was a native of Loreauville and resident of New Iberia, Louisiana. Mrs Prioux died Friday, 25 May 2001 at 8:15 pm at Consolata Nursing Home in New Iberia. A housewife, Mrs Prioux was a member of The Catholic Daughters Of America and The Home Demonstration Club. She also played the organ for many years at various churches. Mrs Prioux is survived by her son, Frank Prioux and his wife Marie Lee of Loreauville; her four brothers, Albert Berard of Beaumont, Texas, Lloyd Berard of Loreauville, Sully Berard of Loreauville and Fernest "Mulate" Berard Jr; and her four sisters, Regina B Decuir of Port Arthur, Texas, Lucy B Gabbert of Lake Charles, Anita B Gilchrist of Port Arthur, Texas, and Felecie "Sister" Vuillemot of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Annas Prioux; her parents, Fernest and Felecie Bernard Berard Sr; her daughter, Jeanette Prioux Davidson; her four sons, Harold, Harvey, Roland and Ronald Prioux; her sister, Lariza B "Larry" Judice; and her two brothers, Anthony "Tony" and Burton Berard.
