Mrs. Florence I. Mace, 51, of Blakesburg, died at 6:50pm, Thursday at the University Hospital in Iowa City. after several months of illness.
A lifelong resident of Wapello County she was born September 28, 1907, the daughter of August and Anna Simonson Peterson. She was a member of the Munterville Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Collins of Wales, Minnesota and Sandra Mace at home; her mother, Mrs. August Peterson of Blakesburg, three grandchildren; three brothers, Carl and Morris of Blakesburg and Lester Peterson of Albia route 3; and two sisters, Mrs. Elvera Burton and Mrs. Alice Patrick both of Long Beach, California.
Her father , two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at the Munterville Lutheran Church at 5pm Monday. The Rev. Emil F. Bergren, D.D., pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Munterville Cemetery. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel.
