Loretta "Bobo" Boyett Olivier, 69 of Springhill, LA died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Carrington Place in Springhill.
Bobo was born on June 26, 1942 in Taylor, AR to the late Gordie Matthew and Vera Mae (Whitehead) Boyett. She loved all sports especially the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, Chicago Cubs, and the Atlanta Braves.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry Boyett and Rickey Boyett; and niece, Deanna Kay Boyett.
Survivors are her daughter, Danielle Williams of Shreveport; son, Matthew Olivier of Kalamazoo, MI; sister, Pauletta Davis and husband Ruel of Springhill; grandchildren, Hannah Williams, Jacob Williams, Hagen Williams, Jorden Olivier, Kaylee Olivier, Donovan Olivier, Sarah, Olivier, Stephen Olivier; son-in-law, Chris Williams of Cotton Valley; sister-in-law, Betty Boyett of Taylor, AR; nieces and nephews, Suzi Whitlock, Kim Sievert, Carletta Bethany, Regina Dryden, and Leslie Nolte; and a host of great nieces and nephews; and former husband, Steve Olivier of Shreveport.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12th at Lewis Chapel with Chaplin Buster Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Springhill. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Cheatham, Chuck Rist, Alton Williams, Jacob Williams, Kevin Williams, and Marty Morgan.
The family sincerely thanks the Carrington Place; the Agape Hospice Nurses, Lee Jones and Pam Roten; and Chaplin Buster Bailey, her best friend, for the many prayers and the wonderful care and support that they all provided for Bobo and her family.
