Funeral services were held in Dallas Thursday, Oct. 17 with burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery at 4 p.m. for Samuel Raymond Chambers, 56, of Dallas. Mr. Chambers was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Chambers. The Chambers family lived at Elmont for many years and were owners of the Elmont Grocery and Dry Goods Store.
