MRS. MARTIN PASSES AWAY
Dies this morning at Jefferson County Hospital
Mrs. Charles MARTIN, a resident of Fairfield for over 33 years, passed away this morning at the Jefferson County Hospital with a heart attack. Mrs. MARTIN had been ill for several weeks but was taken to the hospital about a week ago.
Mrs. MARTIN was born in Keokuk county, Iowa on September 14, 1876. Her age was 62 years, 4 months, and 4 days.
She is survived by her husband, Charles MARTIN of Fairfield and four children: Mrs. Verne CAREY, Rock Island, Ill.; Mrs. William BRUDERS, Fairfield and Milton and Eugene MARTIN of Fairfield.
There are also other relatives and grandchildren.
Funeral services will probably be held on Friday at the Weston Behner Funeral Home. Definite arrangements have not been completed.
