COWARD: Mrs. Brenda Gail Cook Poston, 49, wife of Joel Poston, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Graveside funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Matthews Cemetery, Coward. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 P.M., at Carolina Funeral Home, prior to the service.
Mrs. Poston was born on February 8, 1963, in Florence County, a daughter of the late Charlton Cook and Connie Collins Stokes. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Joel Poston of Coward; daughter, Jennifer (Marion) Cook of Olanta; son, Chris Poston of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Kayla, Marion & Ava Cook; brothers, Timmie Cook and Durant (Laurie) Cook of Timmonsville; sister, Karen (Bobby Joe) Yarborough of Scranton; step-father, Tommy Stokes of Pelion; three step-sisters; and one step-brother.
