KNIGHT Mrs. Lena Laura Knight, 95, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Mrs. Knight was born in Jacksonville and was a member of Norwood Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Gerald W. Knight in 1997 and a son, Stephen Knight in 2007. Survivors include 1 son, Gerald Scott (Teresa) Knight; 2 sisters, Lucile (Bill) Griffin and Dorothy Mills; 2 grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer) and Devin (Erin) Knight; 7 great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, February 10, in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Rev. A. Darrel Murray officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one (1) hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Mrs. Knight's memory to Norwood Baptist Church, 6521 Norwood Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32208.
