Ms. Aldava passed away Monday, March 1, 2004, in Mescalero. She was born Jan. 21, 1957, at Mescalero and had lived most of her life at Mescalero. She worked for the City of Alamogordo as a specialist manager in city property. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Roman; her adoptive mother, Jesusita Aldava; sisters Matilda N. Kanseah, Isabell Saiza, Henrietta Belin and Josephine Jerry; her adoptive brother Frank Aldava, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sebastian Mendez and Albert Baca, mother Natilda Duran and adoptive father Juan Aldava.
Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso.
