Harold Grant Smith, 72 years, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Services for Mr. Smith will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Smith and Rev. Wade Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
A native of Frankfort, he was born June 2, 1939. He was a former factory worker with OHI America.
Mr. Smith is survived by his son, Timothy Smith; former wife and friend, Nellie Smith; brother, Victor Smith Sr.; sisters, Lou Cantrell Hulette, Shirley Casey, Frances Edwards; and granddaughter, Destinee Ellen Smith.
He was preceded in death by wife, Bonnie Powers Smith; parents, William Grant and Maudie Mae Cloyd Smith; brothers, William Smith Jr., Emmitt Smith; and sisters, Marie Kruger and Lucille Carrico.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Owens, Josh Owens, Ryan McDowell, Austin Brown, Victor Smith Jr., Kenny Brown, Darren Newton and Jeff Edwards. Larry Carrico will serve as an honorary bearer.
