Orus T. Belue, 74, died Friday, December 14, 1945, at his home in the Bonham Community on Union Route 4, after an illness of 2 months.
He was a lifelong member of Upper Fairforest Church and served as church clerk for 40 years.
Surviving are his wife, Ester B. Belue; two daughters, Miss Angelle Belue of Myrtle Beach and Mrs. Guy (Olive) Tollison of Union; four sons, Athens Belue and Cecil Belue of Greenville, John T. Belue and Warren Belue of Union; four brothers, L.O. Belue, M.O. Belue and O.B. Belue all of Union and O.M. Belue of Columbia.
Funeral services was held Sunday afternoon at 3 at Upper Fairforest Baptist Church.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
