Lee Pickens Baker, age 45, of Hartsville, passed away Thursday, January 06, 2011. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery.

Lee was born in Florence County, son of Kenneth Baker and Mary Elizabeth Cely Carlson. He was a 1983 graduate of St. John's High School, a 1993 graduate of Francis Marion University and was a supervisor with Stanley Tools of Cheraw.

Surviving in addition to his father of Darlington and mother of Florence, are his step-father, Raymond Carlson, Florence; his wife, Lisa McCaskill Baker of Hartsville; son, Derrick Kenneth Baker, II, also of Hartsville; brother, Brad (Lynn) Baker of Lexington and sister, Cely Anne (Greg) Brigman of Darlington; also, six nieces and nephews.

Lee was preceded in death by a brother, D. Kenneth Baker, Jr.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
