The Oklahoman, Sunday, 13 Feb 2000:
Mary Morley of OKC, passed away Friday, Feb 11, 2000. She was born in Denver, CO, on March 8, 1910 to Maude and Clarence Morley. Her father was both a Federal Judge and Governor of Colorado in the 1920s.

She attended both the University of Colorado and the University of California at Los Angeles. Upon returned to the Midwest, she married her husband of 54 years, Jesse S. Montgomery, where together they were founding members of Westminster Presbyterian Church and co-partners in J. S. Montgomery Drilling Co. and the Bedroom Shop.

As one of the kinder and more generous persons any of us knew, Mary had many friends in her various community activities including the Blue Stocking Club, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and the many activities supporting her children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers, Clarence and Midge, and her sister, Katherine. She is survived by her daughter of OKC, Mary and her husband, Joe Rockett; her son of Washington DC, John and his wife Marilyn Montgomery; her grandchildren, David and Stacey Rockett, of OKC; Ann and Ivan Perrin, Glenwood Springs, CO; Hunter and Linda Montgomery of Austin, TX; Colin Montgomery and Porter Montgomery of New York City; and great grandchild, Morley Montgomery.

Memorial donations may be made to Fountains at Cantebury or Westminster Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Westminster Presbyterian Church at 11 am on Monday, Feb 14, 2000.
