Frank Boggs, 86, of Lancaster, a former Greenup County (Ky.) resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 1995, at home.
Born Feb. 17, 1908, in Greenup County, Ky., a son of the late Doc and Carrie Holbrook, he was a retired tool and dye maker of Rockwell International of Columbus and a member of Antioch United Baptist Church at South Portsmouth, Ky.
Preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Qualls Boggs, Feb. 7, 1990, he is survived by two sons, Frank Boggs, Jr of Arvada, Colo., and Chester Boggs of Lancaster; four daughters, Loretta Smith and Bertha Hilyard, both of Lancaster, Shirley Wilson of Joelton, Tenn., and Betty Snyder of Sugar Grove; a brother, Willard Boggs of South Shore, Ky.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, with Elders J.D. Riggs and Larry Salyers officiating, and interment in Mount Zion Cemetery at South Shore Route 1.
Friends may call at Sheridan Funeral Home in Lancaster from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and at Roberson Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the services Saturday.
