Mrs. Chloe Mabel Corbin, 70, of 1240 Victory Rd., died at 7:50 am Tuesday, March 29, 1966 in the home of her daughter Mrs. Emma Smith of Fairfield Pike, following several months of failing health. She was born in Lawrence County February 12, 1896 and resided in Clark County a number of years. She was a member of the Possum Rd. Church of God. Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. (Emma) Russell Smith in whose home she died, Mrs. (Mary) Leroy D Ingram of Arthur Rd.; one son, Ernest of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; three sisters. Mrs. Elmer (Lona) Mossbarger of Springfield, Mrs. Evie (Tressie) Green of Gallia, and Mrs. William (Helen) Evans of Oak Hill and two brothers: Ernest and Edwin Baker, both of Patriot, Ohio. Her body was taken to the Richards Memorial Home where friends may call from 7 pm Wednesday. Services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday in the Possum Rd. Church of God. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
