William Corbin, 66, of Springfield Route 1, Victory Rd. died at 6:30 pm Wednesday, November 6, 1957, in Mercy Hospital after an illness of 10 days. Born in Rising Sun, Indiana May 21, 1891, he was the son of Bassett L and Mary Belle Vanosdol Corbin. He had been a Clark County resident for 28 years. He was a member of the Possum road Church of God. Survivors include his widow, Chloe; two daughters, Mrs. Emma Smith of Fairborn Route 1, and Mrs. Mary Ingram of Springfield; one son Ernest of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Walker and Mrs. Emma Drury of Battle Creek Mich.; four brothers, Mart of Battle Creek, Amos of Springfield, Albert of Omega, Oh, and George of Bradenton, Fla; and 11 grandchildren. His body was taken to Richards Memorial Home.
