-Obituary,
Nashville Banner,
21 Dec 1933, Thu, Pg 3:

"Seattle, Wash., Dec. 21 - George B. Bryson (sic, George G.), 55, of Nashville, Tenn., railroad civil engineer, died here Wednesday. He had suffered a nervous breakdown and had come here to visit his brother, Barrett Bryson, on the advice of physicians.

Mr. Bryson made his home with his brother, R.A. Bryson, 2309 Dixie Place. He left for Seattle recently to recuperate from a nervous breakdown following an accident on the railroad in which he was injured.

He was born in Gallatin and received his education in the Civil Engineering School of the University of Tennessee, where he graduated in 1903. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Immediately following graduation, he became connected with the Tennessee Central Railway, then under construction, and for two years worked in this capacity. He was late engaged in work for the Government at Muscle Shoals.

Mr. Bryson has been with the Louisville and Nashville Railroad as engineer for the past nineteen years, and traveled over the system supervising when on an inspection trip near construction. He suffered an injury to his ankle in an accident October 1, when on an inspection trip near Springfield. He remained in the hospital for some time and then left for Seattle.

Surviving are his four brothers, B. A. Bryson, of Seattle; Tandy A. Bryson of Troy, N.Y., Robert H. of Hattiesburg, Miss., and his brother here."
