LONACONING — Alexander Anderson, 82, Detmold Street, died yesterday at Frostburg Community Hospital. Born in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Hobaugh) Anderson. A retired Westvaco employe, he was a veteran of World War I, a member of James P. Love Post, American Legion and a member of First Assembly of God Church. Surviving are his widow, Annie (Broadwater) Anderson, Lonaconing; one daughter, Geraldine Anderson, Lonaconing; one son, Alexander Anderson Jr., National; two sisters. Mrs. Mae Thompson, Cumberland; Mrs. Ruth Murphy, Pittsburgh, Pa., and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 1 p.m. by Rev. Curtis Grant. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery
