Eunice came from Independence, Ks. to Hutchinson, Ks, and moved into the home of her Niece, Annabelle Pierce Proctor, and remained in the home of Annabelle In her final days, up to the last week of her life, until Dr. Nanny, her Cancer Doctor, advised that it was time for her to go to the Hutchinson Hospital where she would remain until her death. Wayne and Janet Brawner, (Janet is Great Niece to Eunice, daughter of Annabelle) assisted her mother with the care of Eunice. Eunice was a retired Army Nurse, during WWII serving 4 years. She served in Africa in the Rommel Campaign. After the death of Eunice, we then took her back to Independence, Kansas for burial with her family members.
