William J. Wisner, 88, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, in Vancouver.
Born April 15, 1916, in Bandon, Ore., Mr. Wisner enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing bingo and visiting with friends.
A lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge, he worked as a general contractor in road construction.He built many roads in Clark, Skamania and Cowlitz counties.
A son, John C., died in 2003.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Edith, at home; two sons, William L. of Wickenburg, Ariz., and Herbert H. of Cozumel, Mexico; one brother, Leonard of Menlo; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
At his request there will be no service. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.
