Funeral services for Mr. Jeffery Darrell Andrews, 46, of Anderson, IN, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, from the chapel of Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Rev. John Ray officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Mr. Andrews died Saturday, Oct. 27 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born October 26, 1961, in Livingston, he was the son of Myrtle Andrews and the late William Doc Andrews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosa Smith Andrews, Alford Thomas Andrews, Comer Burkes, Annie (Boles) Burkes; and a close cousin, Shaun Andrews.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a brother and sister-in-law, Rickey and Faye Andrews; a son, Billy Andrews; his son's mother, Lisa Barker; 5 foster children, Frank Vega, Stefanie Vega, Christa Vega, Jason Vega, and Amy Vega, all of Anderson; 5 nephews, Jason Andrews, Josh Andrews, Zackary Andrews, and Dee Groover, all of Anderson; 2 nieces, Amber Lokey and her husband Shane, and Kira Johnson and her husband Neil; a special cousin, Lisa Andrews; and a host of special friends, including, Tammy Jo Hall, Bill Lycan, Mike Cox, Paul Decker, and Freddy Baldwin.
