Benjamin Boothy was the Son of Nathaniel Boothby(1772-1860) and Anna Millikan(1785-1821. He married Catherine Harmon March 25, 1837. They had Eight Children(Two died as Infants in January 1846). The Oldest Son Charles Willis Boothby was a Captain in the Twelfth Maine Infantry during the Civil War. He landed in New Orleans in 1862 and lived out his life in New Orleans.
