On Right side off Rt.131 about 3 mi. S of Tar Heel; 1 mile N. of Bryan's Mill Pond over grown, abandoned cars near by. At Ephraim Allen's death this property was inherited by his son Henry Allen who sold it to Oscar Smith, then his sons , who sold it to John Stone.

She was born in 1805 according to 1850 Census. On pg. 30 of Vol. 3 Cemeteries of Bladen Co., NC Northwestern Bladen, the date of 12 Aug 1810 is given. In Allen History it states that her father was Henry Allen who left a 1795 Will in Duplin Co., NC . Actually Elizabeth was his g. granddaughter.
Elizabeth was head of household in the 1850 census as her husband Richard had died in 1848.
A daughter of William Allen, Jr. (c. 1767- 6 Nov. 1854) . Her mother is unknown. William, Jr. married again in 1845 (Robeson Co. Marriage Bond) to Mary Howell. His death is recorded in Diary of E. E. Robeson 1847-1866. In William Allen, Jr.'s Will 1854, he list the following children:
John Allen, Archbald Allen, Elizabeth Allen Burney, Martha Allen Callihan, and Nicey Allen Howell.
